Website Problems

Hello my fellow pyro!

May 2025

You may or may not be aware that almost all of the photos on my website aren’t showing.  I had a problem with some plugins not playing nice with each other.  My website host put me on notice to fix the problem or my website would be shut down.

Since I’m not a website developer (I know shocking), I did a lot of deleted in an attempt to find and fix the problem.   At some point I must have deleted the wrong file(s).  Oops.

Over the summer I will be slowly working to restore photos and patterns.  I’m going to concentrate on patterns first.

Basically I have to re-upload all of the photos and patterns.  During that process I will remove old blogs and probably reduce the amount of photos on the blogs I keep.  This will take a considerable amount of time.

Currently I have several commissioned projects that I have to do before I can dedicate much time to restoring website content.  I will eventually get things fixed up.

Mostly, I wanted to let you know what is going on, and to ask for patience as I work on this.

  1. I do hope you will be able to recover your web site photos. Your pyrography site is very well done and helpful.

    1. Me too, but some of the issues have become beyond my control. My current host has moved my site to a slow old server. Now, when I try to upload more than 2 photos it times out.

I’m tired of fighting with my current host, so I plan to move the website to another host provider. I’m still researching who to use.

  2. Thank you for letting us know hope you get on top of it all don’t stress out take care

  3. Dear Brenda, I feel your pain!!! As wonderful as Internet, emails, computer etc is, it at times sucks the very life out of you, and many PC’s go flying out a window, in pure frustration:)

Take it easy, you will get there eventually. Create your beautiful work, that is far more important.
Thank you so much for all the beautiful work you have shared with unseen-people across the globe. I love your work and feel blessed that you are prepared to share you experience, talent and processes.

  7. Brenda, I am so sorry that you lost all of that material on your website. Also, I wanted to say how much I have enjoyed your pyros and your methods of getting them done over the last few years.. Many times I have been totally amazed at how much detail you have put into your craft.
