2025 Viewer Art Video participation info

Happy New Year and greetings my fellow pyro!

This is a quick post to let you know that I’m accepting entries for the 2025 viewer art video.  This marks the fifth year of this annual event

This is my favorite video to work on because I not only get to see what you have done, but I also get to share your art with my viewers on YouTube.  At the time wrote this blog, I have a bit over 20,000 viewers.  A number which amazes me!  I never thought my website or YouTube channel would attract the kind of attention it has.

To participate I need two things from you:

1) A good photo of your artwork.   Preferably something you created in 2025, but it doesn’t have to be.

2) How you want your name to appear in the video.   If you have a YouTube channel, provide your channel name and I will include it in the video.  I will not include websites because I feel the need to verify that the site is safe.  Quite truthfully, I don’t want to spend time doing that.

Send your photo and name to:  PyrographyContest@gmail.com

You have until January 15th to send in your submission.  The viewer art video will be available on January 20th on my YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@PyrographyMadeEasy

I want to emphasize that this is NOT a contest or competition.  The pyro contest email is one I don’t use often, so it makes it very easy to keep track of submissions.

As I said, this is not a contest or competition.  Instead it is a celebration of the pyrography artwork.

All skill levels are welcome to participate!

It’s the variety of skill levels and subject matter that makes the yearly video so interesting.

I want your artwork to look it’s best, so don’t take photos of the artwork at an angle.

Instead take your photo straight on.  This will make it easier to see the details of your artwork.

If you can, crop the photo to truly showcase your artwork.

I look forward to seeing your artwork!

Brenda
